President Gardner has the responsibility for the overall corporate management and will co-lead the marketing efforts, and strategic partnership development.  He has over thirty years experience in six utility industries and has had experience in retail and heading a property management foundation managing over $3 billion in assets.  He has served as CEO, COO, Vice President Regulatory and Legal, and Chief Counsel, and has created new lines or areas of business and performed turn-a-rounds of state or federal policy, a line of business or full organization in four of his last five positions. 

His notable achievements include: Member of U.S. Secretary of State's Advisory Committee to the United Nations Electronic Funds Transfer Committee, and associated with the U.S. Secretary of State's Advisory Committee on Private International Law; Co-nominated nationally as outstanding state association executive for 1995; Spokesman at industry seminars and before groups such as National Association of Regulatory Commissioners, California Public Utilities Commission, California Legislature, U.S.C. School of Telecomm., and the Aspen Institute; Director California Water Association; Director Pacific Northwest [Movie] Studio; Vice President, Washington State Film Commission; Advisory Board, California Foundation for Energy and the Environment; and, Member California Public Utility Commission Telecommunications Task Force; Member Telecommunications Committee, Little Hoover Commission; Chairman, United Way Development and Demonstration Grant Committee; Member Bars of Oregon, Washington, District of Columbia, Colorado, and U. S. Supreme Court.

Director McAvoy has the responsibility of implementing and following up on all contracts with governments and schools. With his experience he coordinates and facilitates on a project and day to day level with school district & governmental site staff & contractors.

He brings 35 years of experience in major Project Management and Coordination, Facilities Construction, and Facilities Maintenance and Operations . He has worked with School Districts, Municipalities, Major Aerospace Companies, the United States and foreign governments, as well as, private construction companies on projects valued up to $350 million.

Trudi Gardner, Director of Public & Government RelationTrudi Gardner, Emeritus
Director of Public & Government Relations

Director Gardner has the responsibility for overall relationships with the media, the public, special districts and governments at all levels, including international. With her experience in communications, government relations and education, she serves as Our Company's information and networking resource, and provides solutions to issues affecting organizations and companies.

She brings experience as a Regional Vice President of a national insurance corporation managing a six state region. She also served as Senior Legislative Counsel for a San Francisco-based insurance corporation where she managed government relations and information for a ten state region. Ms. Gardner is a former speechwriter for the CEO of the Northwest’s largest energy company, and campaign writer for the Board President of BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). Her articles and opinion pieces have appeared in The Chicago Tribune, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Sacramento Bee, The Oregonian and many other publications. She has been awarded the George Gallup Award for Journalism and nominated for the Pushcart Prize for literary fiction.

Principal Consulting Architect Sharp has over thirty years of experience focused on K-12 school projects and over fifteen years as a DSA Class 1 approved Building Inspector. He has provided professional services for many educational facilities including: larger projects such as high school campuses and additions to community colleges; small to mid-size projects such as school modernization and additions; and, child daycare development centers. He has also served as President of the Central Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and is currently pursuing certification as a Registered Facility Planner with the Council of Educational Facility Planners, and his LEED-AP accreditation with the United States Green Building Council.
